Anna is a Swedish animation director and filmmaker with a focus on hand-crafted stop motion, based in Stockholm.
Her films mix emotion, awkwardness and humour. She loves to balance sadness and comedy through characters that feel both strange and familiar.
Her work has received over 100 international awards, including an Annie Award, an Emmy Award and European Animation Award.
In addition to her independent films, Anna directs commissioned work for clients such as Apple and Greenpeace. She has an MA in Animation from the Royal College of Art and was part of the animation team on Wes Anderson’s Isle of Dogs.
Anna has also lectured at leading film schools, including the Royal College of Art (UK), Konstfack (SE), the National Film School of Denmark (DE), and the National Film and Television School (UK).
